How to Play Mine Noob Maze
Move with the arrow keys, or touch and slide on a phone or tablet. The playfield is a vertical cave built from cracked stone blocks, lit by hanging torches, with platforms stacked in layers and gems and stars scattered through the gaps.
The bar across the top of the screen tracks what matters: the level number, a gem counter that starts at 0 and counts up toward a target (7 in the third level shown), a key count, a score that ticks upward, and a row of hearts. Green crawling spiders patrol the corridors, and a message early in the level flags bats, spiders and spike rows as the hazards to evade.
Finish a level and a Level Completed panel appears with a star rating and buttons to continue, replay the level, or jump to the level grid.
Tips
- Read the gem counter at the top before rushing ahead — it tells you how many gems the current level asks for.
- Watch the green spiders for a moment before entering a corridor; they move along the platforms and you need a gap in their path.
- Spike rows sit flush against the walls and floors, so hug the open middle of a passage rather than scraping the edges.
- Torch light marks the layout in the darker sections — use the lit blocks to spot where the next platform begins.
- If a level goes badly, use the replay button on the Level Completed and menu panels instead of pushing on.
