How to Play Ludo Wars
Each turn starts with a dice roll. Click or tap to roll, then choose which of your pieces to move by the number shown. The goal is simple to state and harder to pull off: get every one of your pieces around the board and into the end goal before your opponent does.
Two things can undo your progress. Enemy pieces sitting on the route are a hazard, so landing on the wrong square at the wrong time can cost you ground. The board also holds trap spaces, which is what sets this version apart from a plain Ludo match — part of each turn is deciding which piece can afford the risk.
Pick your opponent before you start: an online player, or a friend taking turns on the same screen in local two-player mode.
Tips
- When a roll gives you a choice, think about which piece would be left exposed to enemy pieces after the move, not just which one gets furthest.
- Learn where the trap spaces sit on the board early in a match, then count your rolls so you land past them rather than on them.
- Spreading your pieces out is riskier than it looks — a bunched-up group is easier to shepherd home, but a single trailing piece can stall your whole game.
- In local two-player, agree on who rolls first and keep the device flat between you so both players can see the board.
