How to Play Car Racing: 3D Drive Mad
You drive from a chase camera in portrait view, with a Km/h readout and a level progress bar along the top of the screen. Every car on the track wears a number plate — the frames show the player's car dropping from No.8 to No.4 to No.3 and finally to No.1 — so your position in the pack is always visible above your roof.
The tracks bend, ramp and curl into full tunnels, with jump pads and colour-coded sections leading into loops. Your job is to steer clear of obstacles while picking up the fuel that charges the nitro system. A round boost button sits on the right of the screen; once it is charged you can tap it to push your speed up, and the frames show top-end runs well past 180 Km/h with the boost trails lit behind the car.
The level indicator and progress bar fill as you make your way down the course, so each run is a push toward the checkered marker at the end of the bar.
Tips
- Pick up every bit of fuel you can — the nitro only fires once it has been charged.
- Save a charged boost for the straight sections and tunnels, where the extra speed is easiest to control.
- Keep an eye on the number plate above your car: it tells you how many AI drivers are still ahead of you.
- Line yourself up before ramps and jump pads so you land back on the coloured lane instead of drifting off it.
