How to Play Cars Simulator
Steer with the arrow keys or WASD and watch the analogue dial in the top-right corner, which shows your speed in km/h alongside the current gear. The frames show a yellow rally hatchback pushing past 130 km/h on a desert road before cutting across scrub and grass — there's no track boundary, so the whole map is drivable.
Scattered around the environments are stunt structures: tall curved ramps, a vertical loop and jumps out in the open ground. Line up, hold Shift to boost, and use Space for the handbrake when you want to slide the back end round. If you land upside down or end up somewhere awkward, R resets the scene.
The three buttons in the top-left of the screen — Rally, Police and OldCar — mark the cars you can swap to with keys 1, 2 and 3. With the police car you can switch the lights on using E. C cycles the camera view, X hides the on-screen instruction panel, and Tab takes you back to the main menu to change environment.
Tips
- Tap the handbrake with Space mid-corner instead of braking — the slide keeps your speed up on loose desert ground.
- Build speed on the paved road before turning off toward a ramp; the frames show the car dropping from 135 to 65 km/h once it's in grass and scrub.
- Save Shift for the approach to the vertical loop — you need real speed to stay on the inside of it.
- Press R rather than trying to drive out of a bad landing; it puts the scene back to the start instantly.
- Press C to switch camera before a jump — a different view makes it easier to judge where you'll land.
- Press X to clear the instructions box once you know the keys, so you can see more of the road ahead.
