How to Play Two Punk Racing 2

You drive from a chase camera behind your car, steering with the arrow keys along glowing highways that run past skyscrapers, train lines and lit-up domes. The HUD shows your place out of the six racers, so the goal on each level is simple: pass cars until the position counter reads lower.

Press N for nitro when the road opens up — long straights past the city blocks are where the speedometer climbs past 150 and 180 km/h. B looks back so you can check the cars behind you, and R restarts the level if a run goes wrong.

The game has three modes: racing against rival drivers, a two-player race on one keyboard, and a large open map where you drive around collecting rewards. Money earned goes into the garage, where you can buy new cars, customize them or upgrade the one you already own before heading back out.

Tips

  1. Save nitro for the long lit straights between city blocks rather than firing it into a tight corner.
  2. Tap B to look back and see whether the car you just passed is close enough to retake the place.
  3. If you fall well behind the pack early, hit R and restart the level instead of finishing sixth.
  4. Spend your collected rewards in the garage — a faster or upgraded car makes the higher levels far easier.
  5. Bring a friend to the same keyboard and use the two-player race mode for head-to-head runs.
