How to Play Car Eats Car: Sea Adventure
You drive left to right across a side-scrolling coastline: rickety plank bridges over the sea, rocky islands and palm-lined shores. Gas and brake control your speed, and the balancing keys tilt the car in mid-air so you land on your wheels after a ramp or a broken section of bridge.
The HUD at the top tracks what matters. A red health bar drops when enemy cars ram you or when hazards like spinning saw blades and cannons catch you. A blue bar is your turbo charge, spent with the turbo key for a burst of speed. Counters show your stock of bombs and the red gems you have picked up — gem totals climb fast as you sweep through the floating clusters along the route.
Hostile cars appear ahead and behind, including flying ones, and bosses with their own health bar shown at the bottom of the screen. Bombs are your main answer to them. Gems fund upgrades and new cars through the game's incubator and upgrade systems.
Tips
- Tap the balancing keys while airborne so you land wheels-first — a nose-down landing on the plank bridges costs you speed and health.
- Save turbo for gaps in the bridge and for shaking off a car that is tailing you, rather than burning the blue bar on flat ground.
- Bombs are limited — the counter at the top left shows only a couple at a time, so spend them on bosses and armored pursuers instead of easy targets.
- Steer into the floating gem clusters; gems pay for upgrades and new cars, and skipping a line of them is a real loss.
- Watch for saw blades and cannons planted on the bridge sections and time your approach so you pass them at speed.
