How to Play City Rescue Forklift Simulator
Each mission starts with the forklift parked on a city street and a countdown clock ticking in the top-right corner. A round mini-map in the top-left shows the route and the position of your target, so check it before you set off rather than guessing at intersections.
Line the forks up with the damaged car — usually approached from the side — and ease forward until the vehicle is resting on them. The forklift is slow and long, so turning with a car balanced on the front takes wide arcs and plenty of space between lamp posts, hydrants and pedestrians on the pavement.
Drive the load to the drop zone, marked on the road with a yellow painted outline and the word PARK. Roll into the bay, lower the car and the level is done. Finish inside the time limit and you move on to the next of the game's ten missions.
Tips
- Glance at the mini-map before each turn — the city has several junctions that look alike from street level.
- Approach a car square-on to its side so both forks slide under evenly instead of nudging it away.
- Use the brake rather than the handbrake when carrying a car; a sudden stop can shake the load off the forks.
- Save the boost for empty stretches of straight road, not for tight corners near lamp posts and hydrants.
- Press C to switch camera when you need a better sense of how close the forks are to the car.
