How to Play Impostor Killer
You move through a blue-walled maze viewed from above at a slight angle. The HUD shows the current level and a counter of remaining targets — two on Level 3, three on Level 4 — so you always know how much of the stage is left.
Each yellow impostor projects a pale cone of vision in front of it, and those cones sweep as the impostors patrol. Getting caught in one means game over and a retry, so you route around corners and wait behind walls until the cone points away. Close in and attack to take a target down.
When every impostor on the map is gone, a "Level Complete!" banner and a Continue button appear, and the next level loads with more targets to track.
Tips
- Watch the pale cone in front of each impostor before you commit — it shows exactly which corridor is unsafe right now.
- Use the maze walls as cover: step behind a block and let a patrolling cone sweep past instead of crossing an open corridor.
- Check the counter under the level number so you know how many targets are still on the map before you relax.
- On later levels with three or more impostors, deal with isolated ones first so you are not caught between two overlapping cones.
- Since detection restarts the level, moving slowly costs you nothing — there is no timer shown on the HUD.
