How to Play Commando

You see the action down your own arms and gun barrel. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, hold Left Shift to run between cover, and press Ctrl to crouch behind the low stone blocks scattered around the map. Space jumps.

Left mouse button fires, right mouse button brings the weapon up for a more careful shot. G throws a grenade for enemies grouped together or tucked behind cover. Tab pauses if you need a break.

Missions are framed by objective cards — one in the frames reads "Eliminate the nearby terrorists" and hands over a cash reward before you continue. The HUD keeps a bar along the top, a counter beside a crosshair icon on the left, a grenade marker on the right and a number pair in the bottom-right corner, so glance at them as you push through the courtyard and doorways toward the next fight.

Tips

Right-click to aim before shooting at distance — the open courtyards leave long sightlines where hip-fire is wasteful.
Use Ctrl to crouch behind the low stone blocks in the yard instead of standing in the middle of the paved lane.
Save grenades (G) for enemies clustered near the archway or behind cover where a straight shot won't land.
Left Shift sprinting is best for crossing the open ground between walls, not for fighting — stop moving before you fire.
