How to Play Battle Area

You see the base through your character's eyes. Movement and aiming are split between two hands on desktop: the arrow keys or W, A, S and D walk you around the mine, while the mouse turns your view, lines up your target and fires. That separation is the whole skill of the game — strafing with the keyboard while the mouse tracks an enemy is far more effective than standing still and turning your whole body.

Your objective across the site is to hunt down and eliminate the enemy force occupying the mineral mine, so progress comes from clearing the area rather than holding one spot. On mobile the same loop works through touch: an on-screen joystick handles walking, a fire button shoots, and dragging on the right half of the screen swings your aim and turns you around.

Tips

  1. Keep moving with the keyboard while you aim with the mouse — standing still to turn makes you an easy target.
  2. Small mouse movements aim more accurately than big sweeps; save the fast drags for spinning to face something behind you.
  3. On a phone, rest your right thumb near the fire button so you can drag to aim and shoot in the same motion.
  4. Play in landscape — the game is built for a wide view, which matters when you are scanning the mine for enemies.
