Each level starts with a machine to move and a target to reach. In the frames the excavator crawls along a road and up a dirt track, with a green arrow above the cab showing which way you are pointed and a green marker on the ground showing where the job is — in this case a dump truck parked beside a mound of sand.
Once you are in position the view shifts to the work controls. Buttons around the machine handle the arm: rotating the body left or right, raising and lowering the boom, and tipping the bucket to scoop or release. Dig into the sand pile, swing over the truck's open bed and dump the load. A bar under the timer tracks how far along the task is, so keep cycling scoops until it fills.
The clock keeps running the whole time, so read the hint markers before you start moving and get the machine lined up with the pile and the truck in as few moves as you can.
