How to Play Urban Derby Stunt And Drift
You steer the car with the arrow keys from a chase camera set just behind the bumper. The ground is loose sand and gravel, so the car slides and leaves tyre tracks behind it as you turn — momentum matters more than a tight racing line. There are no lane markers to follow: cactus, scrub, power-line poles and the odd track segment are the only landmarks.
The stunt structures are the goal. Tall curved ramps and full loops rise out of the dunes, and you need enough run-up speed to carry the car up and around them. The HUD keeps a speed readout that appears as you build pace, a coin counter that starts at zero, and two other status bars along the top left.
Coins you collect while driving go toward unlocking additional vehicles, each of which handles differently. Space brakes, F triggers nitro, and C switches the camera if you want a different angle on a jump.
Tips
- Build up a long straight run across the flat sand before you hit a loop — the curved ramps need real speed to carry the car all the way round.
- Brake with Space before you turn on loose sand; stabbing the arrow keys at full pace just slides the car sideways.
- Switch the camera with C when you are lining up a ramp entry — the default chase view sits low and hides the top of tall structures.
- Take detours to grab coins while roaming; they are what pay for the other vehicles.
- Watch for cactus, scrub clumps and power-line poles out in the open desert — they break your speed right before a jump.
