How to Play Stock Car Hero
You steer from a chase camera just behind your car. The track is a banked oval lined with grandstands and palm trees, and the field is bunched together at the start, so your first job is finding clean air. Slower cars appear in every lane; swing wide or cut low to slip past without clipping them.
The bar across the top of the screen is your race progress, running from the START marker to the checkered flag, with coloured dots showing where every driver sits. Your position is shown on the right — the frames run through 7TH and 10TH as the pack shuffles. A coin counter sits in the top-left corner: pick up coins on the track and use them to upgrade your car for the next event in the series.
Boosting through the banked corners is how you make up ground, so line the car up on the banking before you commit to a pass.
Tips
- Use the banking in the corners — running high through a turn carries more speed than hugging the flat inside line.
- Watch the progress bar at the top to see which rivals are just ahead; it tells you when a pass is worth the risk.
- Pick up coins that sit on your racing line rather than swerving into traffic for them — a collision costs more than the coin.
- Spend coins on upgrades between races so the next track in the series doesn't leave you outgunned.
- Traffic is thickest right after the start, so be patient for the first stretch and pick off cars one at a time.
