How to Play Soldiers Fury
The camera looks straight down at a sandy track fringed with grass, bushes and the occasional river crossing. Your soldier sits at the bottom of the screen and streams bullets up the lane while enemy soldiers — each with a small red health bar above them — advance from the top and shoot back. Reposition to line up your shots and to slide out of the path of the dark red rounds they fire at you.
Kills and clutter leave pickups in the lane: heavy weapons like a mounted gun or a rocket launcher, a magnet icon, and small gold items to grab as you push forward. Your own health sits in the coloured bar at the top right, so collecting and surviving matter as much as shooting. Coins you gather go into upgrades for your power and ammunition, which is what keeps you alive as later waves send more troops at once. Bushes and other scenery along the road can be used to your advantage when enemies bunch up.
Tips
- Watch the red health bars over enemy soldiers — wounded ones die to a short burst, so finish them before starting on a fresh target.
- Move sideways out of the line of incoming rounds instead of trading fire head-on; the lane is wide enough to dodge in.
- Pick up dropped heavy weapons such as the mounted gun or rocket launcher as soon as they appear — they clear clustered troops far faster than your starting gun.
- Bank coins into power and ammunition upgrades rather than hoarding them; later waves send several soldiers at a time.
- Use bushes and scenery in the lane as cover and as a way to catch groups of enemies together.
