How to Play Roshambo
Each side of the screen belongs to one player: orange on the left, blue on the right. Below the arms sit three shape buttons — the two-finger scissors, the open palm for paper and the closed fist for rock. Choose one before the round resolves. A tick mark appears next to each player's score once their pick is locked in, then both arms swing forward and the winning shape is shown.
Scoring follows the classic rules: rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock. The counters in the top corners climb as rounds go by, and the match ends when one player reaches three. From the result screen you can replay the match, head back to the mode select or return to the menu using the round buttons at the bottom.
You can play against the computer or share the keyboard with a friend, so the fun is in spotting patterns before your opponent spots yours.
Tips
- Watch which shape your opponent repeats after they lose a round — many players switch to the shape that just beat them.
- Because the match is only three points, an early lead matters; mix your throws instead of settling into an obvious rhythm.
- In two-player mode, press your key at the same moment as your friend so neither of you can read the other's hand first.
- Learn the key layout before playing: A/S/D and J/K/L follow the same left-to-right order as the on-screen shapes.
