Each level gives you a simple cartoon scene and a short instruction line at the top telling you what to draw. In the plumbing stage, a plumber stands next to a purple valve, a filter unit is mounted on the brick wall and one or two green-lidded fish tanks sit on shelves — the prompt reads that you draw lines to connect the pipes and save the fish. You press and drag to trace pipe along the wall, and the liquid runs through the route you drew, turning from purple to clear as it passes the filter and pours into each tank.
The game holds six different ways to play, so the drawing task changes between minigames: routing children so they don't bump into each other on the way to the right toilet, or sliding sand so a basketball ends up in the correct basket — and in that mode a fan's airflow matters.
