How to Play Purrrification
You move the cat left and right and jump between stone platforms, using the drop-through input to fall from a ledge when you need to get lower. A row of cat-head icons in the top-left corner tracks your remaining lives, and the flat grey backdrop of columns and blocks hides spikes along the floor and at the edges of platforms, as seen in the later frames.
Seven levels ramp up in difficulty, but the twist is that the glitches are part of the design. Strange figures can turn up on screen, the game may appear to hang, and environments, audio and menus shift over time. Some sections are built so that losing lives is the route forward rather than a mistake. Hidden easter eggs and metanarrative touches are scattered through the run, so odd behaviour is worth investigating instead of reloading.
