How to Play Emoji Merge
Each turn a single emoji waits at the top of the screen. Pick the horizontal spot where you want it and release — it falls, rolls and settles on whatever is already down there. Two matching faces that come into contact merge into one larger emoji, so a pair of small pink smileys becomes a bigger one, and bigger ones keep combining into new faces such as the wide green grin seen later in a run.
Your score climbs with every merge, shown by the trophy counter at the bottom left. Space is the real enemy: merged emojis take up more room, and loose singles that never find a partner clog the floor. A remove-smallest-item button clears tiny stray emojis off the stage when things get tight. If the pile grows past the line near the top of the container, the run ends.
Tips
- Drop matching faces next to each other rather than on top — round emojis roll, and a neighbour pair merges just as well.
- Keep one side of the container clear as a landing zone so a bad drop doesn't wedge a lone emoji into a corner.
- Save the remove-smallest-item button for when small singles are scattered across the floor, not for a single misplaced drop.
