How to Play Dino Puzzles
Choose a dinosaur from the selection screen and the board loads with a grey shadow of that animal in the middle of a wooden background. The cut-out pieces — a tail, a clawed leg, a head with an open mouth full of teeth — sit around the edges of the screen waiting to be placed.
Pick up a piece and drop it onto the matching part of the silhouette. A piece that lines up correctly snaps into place and fills in that section with colour, so the grey shape shrinks as you go. Pieces are large and few, which keeps it manageable for small kids.
When the last piece lands, the finished dinosaur is shown in full and a rainbow COMPLETE message appears. The arrow in the bottom-left corner takes you back to pick another dinosaur, and the circular arrow in the bottom-right restarts the same puzzle so you can do it again.
Tips
- Start with the most recognisable piece, like the head with the open jaws, so the rest of the silhouette is easier to read.
- Match the outline shape, not just the colour — the tail tip and the clawed foot have very different curves.
- Use the restart arrow at the bottom right to replay the same dinosaur and get faster at it.
- Work through all 15 dinosaurs; each has its own silhouette and piece layout.
