Each level starts with your gun sliding forward along a pale grey track surrounded by bright blue water. Ahead sit purple pillars stamped with numbers and crates that carry pickups. You keep firing as you advance, breaking pillars to claim the cash inside and grab whatever items they were holding. The money counter sits at the top left of the screen and climbs as you collect.
After the finish line the mode changes. Your collected weapons drop onto a grid where you merge them into a single, more powerful gun, then that gun takes on the blue enemy figures waiting on the other side. Frames show several guns laid out on the tiles and enemies being shredded with red tracer marks.
Spend the money you banked on upgrading ATK and Speed. Stronger stats make it easier to smash more pillars on the next track, which feeds more weapons into the merge and a better gun into the battle.
