The player will have the choice to start in various types of religious organizations, starting from the very basic role of preaching and then going through the evolution process until your religion becomes the dominant force regionally, and possibly, globally as well.

To achieve this goal, there are certain types of strategies available at the player’s disposal, and he/she needs to wisely use them to spread the religion successfully. There are pitfalls also if you use your strategies in the wrong ways.

How to Play God Simulator

Earning XP & Leveling Up

The goal of God Simulator is to convert the entire world population wisely and successfully into believers of your religion. To achieve that end, the player will have certain in-game power-ups which can be utilized to spread the word of God, in and outside of the origin land.

The player – after selecting the religion type – must choose between three categories: Novice, Preacher, and Prophet. All these three categories have different difficulty levels. Novice is the easiest; the preacher is somewhat difficult and the prophet is the hardest.

Whatever category you choose, your goal is to spread your religion and defend it against multiple obstacles you will face throughout centuries of evolution. Once you successfully established your religion, all these categories have different winning points to offer: Novice 30 winning points; Preacher 50 points, and Prophet 80 points.

Playing Environment

The game offers a top-down view on an in-game screen dimension of 800×600, with a landscape orientation. This provides for a better in-game view and more in-game world details. However, this web browser strategy game does not support mobile devices as of now.

The game’s menu is simple: choose a new game or continue with your last saved one. When starting a new game, you will have options to choose your religion types. There are categories such as Monotheism, Spiritualism, Pantheon, Paganism, Shamanism, Totalitarians, and Destructive Cults.
