How to Play BitLife - Life Simulator
Your life appears as a list of dated entries: a birthday and star sign, your parents' names and jobs, siblings moving out, a father retiring, world news, and small moments like taking your brother bungee jumping. The big green Age button at the centre of the bottom bar advances you one year and adds the next batch of events.
Below the diary sit the four stat bars. In the frames Health holds at 99% and Smarts at 80%, while Happiness and Looks shift between years — 68% to 74% and 37% down to 35% — so the numbers move as your life plays out. The bottom bar also opens your current stage panel, Assets with separate Cars and Real Estate screens, Relationships listing parents, siblings and pets with their own relationship bars, and Activities. Bank Balance sits in the top-right header next to your name.
The point is the shape of the whole life: aim for a clean record with an education, marriage and kids, or take the darker route the game offers and see where prison riots and betrayal lead.
Tips
- Read each year's entries before pressing Age — events about family and school are what your later choices build on.
- Watch the four bars after each year; Happiness and Looks visibly move between ages, so you can see which years cost you.
- Use the Relationships screen to check where your parents, brother and pet stand — Tucker's bar starts far lower than the rest.
- Open the Assets tabs to keep track of cars and real estate separately from the Bank Balance in the header.
